Because he had no ID and I asked for further clarification, the worker (around 5’5,” brown hair) immediately started getting angry and defensive. Just because I asked for clarification because we both were of age. She started threatening to call the police when we broke no laws, were not disrespectful, nothing. I asked for a manager and she told me to come back tomorrow. I will be coming back. The workers outburst was embarrassing at minimum, and an unsuccessful threat at that. We went next door to the 7-11 and were treated with respect. The police are always at this Rebel location. I don’t know exactly what goes on in and around this place, since I am fairly new to the area, but it obviously a shady mess that I will definitely steer clear of. If you want to save yourself empty threats and disgruntled employees, I’d suggest you use this place for gas only, card only.
