Read MoreI needed an extra phone battery for my daughter's phone & saw their ad on craigslist. I live a little bit away from the store & called first to see if they carried the battery & inquired about the price. The man who answered the phone said they carried the battery & it would be $20. I was very pleased that they carried it, but when I got to the store the lady at the counter retrieved the battery & told me it would be $30. I told her that someone on the phone told me it would be $20, but she said that only used batteries were $20 & new were $30 & that they didn't have any used batteries for the phone right then.
First, I didn't want a used battery anyway, but second, the man who answered the phone did not indicate one way or the other whether he was giving me a price for a new or used one-he only said that they had it for $20. Although, the lady was nice, I felt like she should have honored the price I was quoted and not do a "bait & switch". There were two guys in the back, of which I am sure one of them had been the one who quoted the price, but neither even acknowledged the situation. They lack in customer service and if I hadn't really needed the battery in a hurry, I would have just walked out.
