I have had several good experiences with this Publix Pharmacy before, but this past Monday I had a HORRIBLE experience. There is a girl that works there with long, red braids that was not listening to me, was rude, and lied to my face!
When I told the girl at the counter that I’m here to pick up a prescription that was called in over the phone, she looked in the computer and responded that she does not see an e-prescription from a doctor’s office. I told her again that it was called over the phone line. Then she told me that the pharmacist is in a meeting and would be back in 15 minutes to fill the order. I said okay and went shopping for almost 30 minutes and then returned to the pharmacy. At this time she told me that she doesn’t know when the pharmacist will be back and just looked at me, no attempt to find out, no apology, nothing. If she didn’t know then why lie to me and waste my time? Also, saying I don’t know and not attempting to find out is horrible customer service. I had to talk to a manager before getting an answer on when the pharmacist would be back. The manager was very nice and helpful. I understand if they’re in a meeting, but don’t lie to me and waste my time. I would have just left and called later to see if the prescription was filled instead of wasting an hour walking around the store.
