I had high expectations for Printful due to its enticing print-on-demand services. However, my experience with ordering various samples, including hoodies and sweatshirts with different materials, left me disappointed. While they offer Direct to Garment (DTG) printing, which can rival or even surpass screen printing when done correctly, my received products exhibited faded and lackluster artwork.
I reached out to them, expressing my dissatisfaction with the quality issues and referencing numerous reviews mentioning faded and almost transparent prints. Their response struck me as evasive, suggesting that the problem was anticipated and, in essence, brushing off the issue. This left me puzzled as some prints were better than others, undermining their "expected" explanation.
Their resolution was to offer a refund for a single flawed product, which didn't address the root of the problem. I wasn't seeking just refunds; I hoped for a solution that could simplify my life as a customer. However, I found myself entangled in a loop of excuses rather than a genuine effort to rectify the situation.
Ultimately, I requested refunds for all products, but Printful declined, proposing a refund only for a hoodie with a crooked design. This was yet another manifestation of their issues in quality control.
In my assessment, Printful seems to prioritize quantity over quality. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against using this company. The promise of convenience through print-on-demand is overshadowed by the disappointment and frustration stemming from subpar results and unhelpful customer support.
