The older African lady cashier (I’m also black and not trying to be xenaphobic at all, simply need to describe her and don’t know her name) is one of the most unfriendly people I have ever encountered in my life. I’ve been to this location a dozen times and each time, her attitude is the same. She fusses at you to remove the hangers from the clothes before you get to the register in a very rude manner. She is very clearly annoyed when you aren’t moving fast enough for her or you “inconvenience” her. One time my debit card didn’t work (which i actually believe was a problem on her end because I had sufficient funds in the account per my banking app) and instead of saying “I’m sorry but your card didn’t go through” or “do you have another form of payment” she got very irritated and told me with an attitude that my card didn’t work as if I HAD DONE SOMETHING TO HER. I work in retail as well so I know first hand how relieved customers are when they interact with a sales associate/cashier who is pleasant, or at a bare minimum isn’t grumpy. Despite what’s going on in your personal life, it is immature and unprofessional to take that out on people you don’t know, especially at your place of work. I’m sure other shoppers know exactly who I’m talking about solely based on my description of her attitude and they probably agree with me as well.
