We purchased four pallets of pavers and paid the full pallet price. Upon pickup, our worker noticed one layer was missing and immediately reported the shortage to Kevin onsite. Kevin assured us he would handle the credit. However, when we returned the empty pallets for the pallet refund, we were charged the full price for the pavers. We inquired about the refund for the missing layer and were denied.
Later that day, a manager named Danny called and reiterated the denial, citing a policy that shortages must be reported within 24 hours. We clarified that Kevin was notified before we left the store, but Danny insisted that the notification should have come directly from the company owner. After reviewing their written policy it just states that "for shortages must be reported in 24 hours." There is no stipulation of who or how it must be reported it just needs to be reported. Dannys interpretation of their policy, is unreasonable. All this hassle over a $37 refund. Attached is the working on their policy.
