This station was always my go-to stop on the way to/from Madison. Usually for some snacks and a restroom run. The last couple times I have been here, I’ve gotten more uncomfortable using the restroom here. The last time I came in March, there was an older man folding towels at a table by the restrooms and I noticed he was watching me walk into the bathroom. He wears a different uniform from the cashiers up front so my guess is he’s a cleaner or maintenance man. When I came out, he watched the door open and looked like he was trying to see into the women’s room. Today I came again and he was there again folding towels. Again, watching me walk into the bathroom. A woman was standing in the doorway when I came in and by the time I got out, she was with her daughter calling him a pervert and yelling at the man for looking into the restroom every time the door opened. I understand her concerns, especially bringing young daughters having an old man watch the bathroom. Considering I’ve witnessed this multiple times coming here, I’d say it’s a frequent problem. What reason does a man have to be looking into the women’s restroom anyways!?? I think today is my last time stopping here, I don’t feel comfortable using the restroom feeling like I’m being watched by a man.
