I have 2 Pierce uncapping knives that I use annually. The last time I used one of the knives, I noticed that the cord was very frayed and that it wasn't heating up like it once did. I called Pierce to ask if it would be worth having the knife worked on. After speaking with the owner, Anura, he told me to send the knife in and he would look at it. About 10 days later, my knife was delivered back to me. The handle and cord had been replaced and the knife had been recalibrated...at no charge! Where do you find companies like this today? This is a fantastic American company making everything here in the States. I can't possibly recommend them more. Thank you Anura, for your time, conversation and generous service!
