I had an appointment on Monday, at 9:30 AM by noon, I was still in the waiting room. Why wasn't my car being serviced? I left, told them I'd come by at 7AM to get my car first in. Did that happen? No! I left the car and texted that the keys were under driver side floor mat. Well, no one told me that the texts that I was recieving were from 'headquarters'? How would I know that? This was my second try, and I had to walk from the dealership that morning, and walk back to pick up my car. I called to see if it was ready, some woman who answered the phone, told me it was up, and almost ready. I walked back, it wasn't. The number I call was associated with the number that texted me. Which please tell me, why are they using a number to corporate or some PEP BOYS in PA????? I got a call about my car, as I left a message with someone of extreme frustration. I got a call from Greg, who explained all of the aformentioned issues above. He said he'd have the tire changed and ready to go in 20 minutes, and apologize. I said " I hope so because I will be there in 15".
Thanks to Greg's polite, manner, and explanation, it all worked out. He couldn't have been better or more congenial in getting it worked out. This is long, but you should know.
PS - PepBoys Everett, your lock box is in front of the 5 or 6 handicap parking space. That's why I did not see it or directions on the side where I parked, in front of the entrance door. Paint an arrow to the left that says "key drop off box" or something. #justAthought RGreene, Chelsea
