LIVID. First and last time using Party City for halloween stuff. They keep the costumes in the back and get them for you, unlike the other Halloween stores I've used. I paid $20 for my son's batman costume. Thinking people were actually doing their jobs, I checked out and left. The next day, as I'm hurrying to pick up my son and make it to our Halloween Party and then out for trick or treating, he goes to change into his costume. In the bag, there was nothing but a cheap, flimsy, black jumpsuit. No cape. No mask. No belt. I called the store I got it from, and was informed (after she casually said, "oh, yeah there's an accessory pack that goes with that") that I would have to make the half hour plus drive back to the store right then to get the rest of my costume. I asked if, since I lived out of town, I could come in the next business day and return my 1/4 of a costume that I paid FULL price for. I was cut off and told that no refunds or returns would happen, that the only thing they were willing to do was have me drive back up there and get the rest of my stuff. RIGHT THEN. I again explained that this was not my mistake, that I paid for a product that I didn't receive, and again she snapped that I wouldn't be getting compensated for anything. "I don't know what to tell you, then." I will be in contact with corporate, as this is EXTREMELY bad business. This is inexcusable.
