Read MoreOn Friday, October 27, 2023, I went to the party city located in the Camp Creek market place. I purchased a costume, after being told no one could try on the costume’s in the store, but you could take it home and try it on, but if it did not fit, you could return it no issues.
I returned to the store Sunday morning to let the manager on duty know that I was making a return. The manager, who had such a nasty and unprofessional attitude, told me the employee that sold me the costume misspoke and it could not be returned. I could only exchange or get a store credit, as she walked away from me.
Now at this point I’m ticked off. The manager did not even have a few minutes to speak with me and hear me out. Once she passed by me again, she quickly said she would listen, but her stance was not going to change. She also stated the store was short staff and most employees had been hired in the last seven days.
I informed her that I understood working with short staff, but there should be measures in place to right the wrongs employees make.
I had no choice but to accept the store credit.
This was totally an awful experience!!!!!
