This app won't let you give a -, so I chose the lowest I could go. What CAN I say about this experience? I rushed down there to be 15 minutes early for my appointment (just as "THEY" told me to be) so that I could fill out Paperwork. I waited about 40 minutes for my exam. I wasn't ecstatic about that, but I did it. When called back, no big deal. Eye exam over, okay. It was time to pick out the frame. Oops. Problem.
She was busy with another Patient, so sit in this Chair, it shouldn't be long. 25 minutes later, 2 people came out of the "Glasses" room. The Employee ran back and forth a few times, then asked me if I was there for Glasses. I told her I thought I was, sovshe told me to go sit in one of the Chairs. I did. When she came in, she told me I could get up and look at frames. Now I'll tell you. I have broken toes & wear a designer sandal on my right foot. I hobble around. It hurts. I was NOT going to "get up & look around". I had brought my helper with me, so I asked if she could come back & help. I was told ues, but my helper had gone to the Restroom, so I'd have to wait. When I saw her, I called to her, & she came to see what I wanted. Meanwhile, I had told the Employee
That SURELY between Cathy and she, they could roundup enough frames for me to make a choice. She started making phone calls. First one was cancelling an order. Boy, was she MAD!! I'm not sure what the next one was, but she was STILL ticked off. Started grumping about how people stopped in WITHOUT APPOINTMENTS, WANTING STUFF, and it made her BEHIND, AND NOW SHE PROBABLY WOULDN'T EVEN GET LUNCH!" Wow! You'd ALMOST think that this was a JOB, or something!!
I was pretty much stunned by her at this point, and when Cathy came in, I told her what I needed.
Super Employee just sat there, shuffling through paperwork. Cathy & I chose the frames. I asked what my Insurance covered. She didn't know til she checked. I don't know how YOU do Business, but if I had a Customer, I would take care of THEM FIRST, & try VERY HARD not to let them see what a foul mood I was in. I WON'T BE GETTING GLASSES THERE. I WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE.
***ON A SIDE NOTE, Cathy had the misfortune to need to use the restroom while there. PLEASE DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVE A SQUEAMISH STOMACH!!!
Cathy said it was unbelievably FILTHY, and there was black mold growing in the toilet. In general, NO ONE cleans that room, and it is DISGUSTING!! IF YOU ARE, AS I WAS, LOOKING FOR A NEW OPTOMOTRIST,
KEEP LOOKING!!!!
