Read MoreHey I rarely write reviews but on this occasion I feel like it’s necessary. I was on the hunt for a C-34733 trailer air bag called every shop in Fontana area and no luck. Finally I reached out to this shop and was quoted $215 for a Henderson brand air bag but he only had one, I needed 4. He told me he can get them for later in the day if not by the next morning 9am. I asked if same brand and he stated no that they would be torque brand. I proceeded to ask if price would be the same he responded by let me take a look and I’ll call you back. I never receive the call back so I called to follow up. He told me those would be $280 a piece so I told him I would only take the Henderson brand one he said that’s fine that if I wanted all 4 he can do $240 each but rejected just wanted the Henderson as I had gotten a hold of two other air bags near me. When I showed up to the shop he recalled talking to me but still seemed confused and quoted me $250 for the part. I told him he had told me that one was going to be $215 and he denied telling me that. He said and I quote “ you can’t find these because no one has them in stock it’s $250 best I can do is $240”. Bummed out that I drove from down the mountain with the hopes of obtaining the air bag I needed decided to take my business else where. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with anther shop “Cruz Truck Supplies”who had 8 torque brand in stock at $174 a piece. Thankful I got a better deal and ended up purchasing all 4 instead. Even if I had to pay a couple bucks more at an another shop I would rather do business else where since they weren’t honest.
