So I was asked by my sister in law who was going to be in Florida for 2 months if I could go to this consignment shop to pick up her items that did not sell, they gave her a date for pick up and she did not want them to donate what clothing of hers that didn’t sell. While I was in the store for the very first time I decided to look around, I picked up 2 pair of stretch pants tried them on and liked them. So I bought them up to the cashier and asked if they were 50% off cause on entering the store I noticed on the door it said 50% off. The women behind the counter older says to me everything is already 50% off meaning it’s all cheap already. So I say well for $11.99 I can buy these in Marshall’s or TJMax brand new for that price. That’s when the volunteer so she told me said this is designer( it was Nine West) so ok, I then ask for help getting the cloths for my sister in law and they say you have to look for the clothing myself I say I have no idea what she dropped off here. She is in Florida can’t you help me no they said we can print out a description of her items but you have to find them yourself. OK there is no one in the store there are four people behind the desk and not one of those ladies would help me find the clothing that I have no idea what my sister-in-law dropped off, but just a description and no idea where to find these clothing. In the meantime the volunteer says to me what are you doing with the two pants at the desk? Are you buying them and I said no I’m not taking them, she says well what are you doing with them? I said nothing I’m not taking them, she says your just leaving them at the register. I say I’m looking right now for the clothes that my sister-in-law left here that I’m supposed to pick up. Now I was going to buy those pants at the register but when they wouldn’t help me and had such attitude I wasn’t going to buy anything from them. So this women expected me go and hang the pants back up, when clearly if I left them in the dressing room who then would have put them back. Their attitude was so disturbing that I decided I’m not buying them so I left them instead of leaving them in the dressing room because I thought I was going to buy them. I left them on the counter and then I proceeded to look for my sister-in-law’s clothing that they would not help me with even though they were doing absolutely nothing the store was not busy at all. I think there might’ve been two people in the whole store. I would not recommend shopping at a consignment store that has prices the same as you can get clothing brand new at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. It was not worth the hassle.
