Read MoreMy wife called this company in an emergency after our business was broken into. They quoted $560 to my wife and me over the phone for the board up and trip out, and we agreed. When the owner got there, he seemed nice and reasonable, but as they did their work, I realized there was going to be an up sell, however, I was shocked at the tactics to come. The owner told me to make a false claim to my insurance carrier for a repair to the door, which was pre-existing and unrelated to the break in. I was not onboard with it, and, at that point my guard was up. He then presented me with an invoice for $3,155 for work that hadn’t even been performed yet related to the glass replacement. Here is where it gets really crazy and was absolutely unconscionable. When he arrived, he asked me to sign a blank invoice, which I never should have done, but given that it was 3:30 am, I was tired, and was grateful for him to be there, I complied under duress. He then filled it in after the fact (which I have on video) and proceeded to charge me for the total cost even though I did not give my authorization. The repair was for a standard-sized glass door and would be on the order of hundreds of dollars, not thousands! I have included a picture of the door for other people to see so that they can get an idea of how absurd this it. While I never write nasty reviews as I don’t want to hurt someone’s ability to earn a living, I found this necessary to warn others - this company is predatory and should not be in business.
