Throughout my life, I have visited many different places to get my hair cut. Chain/commercial shops, family-owned, salons, military barbers, private barbers, you name it. This is my favorite establishment I have ever visited. This place has heart. They don’t have the nicest façade, or the newest decor, or the most hi-tech booking website. But you know what they do have? Amazing people, giving amazing haircuts, at an amazingly fair price.
Cally was the gentleman who cut my hair. He is a wizard with the clippers. His attention to detail is immaculate, and he won’t rush you out of there. He is a community figure and a respectable businessman. On top of that, unlike many barbers, Cally is an excellent conversationalist and listener, with a great deal of wisdom to impart. The next time I am in the Capital District, without a doubt, I will be seeking out his services.
Don’t go to those fancy Clifton Park barber shops that will charge you $30 for a 30 minute haircut. Go to Northeast Clippers at 24 White Street in Cohoes. You will not regret your decision.
