Short Version: From my first hand experience, Nations Truck is absolutely the REAL DEAL!
I have a lot to write about here. I dislike the whole dealer car buying experience so I was already at a dis-advantage for the possibility of it being a good experience. I read all the google reviews. A lot of them sounded so over the top they seemed fake. Seemed like the good ones were someone writing their own review for the company and the bad ones seemed so bad they must have been a competitor. I sorted the list by “lowest score” and read them and almost worried myself into not buying a used truck, at all!! However, I did buy a truck from Nations and it was a great experience. I am a real person, a real buyer that lives 80 miles from beautiful Sanford in Satellite Beach.
First, I was called back by Dale after putting in a email inquiry. Dale sounded like a good ol boy from the start. He was not “salesmane” or pushy. He gave me the facts and that was that. The truck I wanted was out of my budget. I kept looking. About 2 days later, he texts me that they just got one in that was in my budget. A 2010 which was older than I wanted, but extremely low miles. I ran the Carfax and it checked out good. I could not get over to see it for a couple days, so I ended up talking with Country. He was also a good ol boy. We agreed that I would give a CC deposit and he had no problem offering it refundable if I didn’t like the truck and also offered I could take it anywhere locally for an inspection. Well I got over to the dealership, was still kind of skeptical and then I had a chance to see the truck and knew I had found an absolute GEM. Thanks Dale for listening to the customer and knowing my budget and letting me know about the truck!!!! At this point, I asked Country to write up the deal pending the inspection. We talked thru the cost already, the dealer fee (which I dislike but they all do it) and TT and T. Again, I am waiting for the salesman angle where they add another “processing fee” or something. Well, they didn’t !! It was exactly as they told me. Straight shooting as it gets. Great bunch of guys and I enjoyed shooting the breeze with every person I talked to.
I drove it to the local shop and had it inspected. It was CHERRY all the way around, under and in! We did the paperwork and that was that. Here’s another bonus value – it came with a dealer warranty. Extra value I did not even know I was getting. Victor was a very nice guy and made the paperwork quick and easy. I also had the owners come over and shake my hand and introduce themselves – nice guys too!!!
My only constructive feedback guys….2 things – guys when someone is buying a $30,000+ vehicle, put some gas in it! Don’t make the customer have to pull over and put gas in a truck they have not even bought yet. Its kind of tacky for the high end trucks you sell.
Also – small things like having a broken horn detract from an otherwise flawless experience. Fix the small stuff like that before selling. However, you did make it right, so it all worked out!
Thanks again guys – I am absolutely loving the truck as are my wife and kids.
