I have always gotten my car inspected at this Mobil station. I have never had problems until it changed hands. Last year the manager of the station conducted my inspection himself. My car was brand new to me, fresh from the dealership. He failed me. He said I needed new wiper blades, but that he had wiper blades available that I could purchase and get my passing sticker. So I purchased the wiper blades. He charged me $60 for the wiper blades and $35 for the State inspection sticker. I needed to get my car inspected again today. He is the only station in my area which still conducts State Inspections and I have $60 wiper blades on my car, so I figure I am good. My wipers worked wonderfully through Monday's torrential downpours so I figured I was safe.
The manager conducted the inspection again this year and you guessed it, he failed my car. He told me my wiper blades were broken, which at the time when I pulled in they were not broken. I was angry and told him that my wipers were the same ones he conned me into purchasing last year and that they were not broken. To just give me my sticker and stop being a thief and con-artist. He put a rejection sticker on my car. But this isn't the worst part of the story. As I drove away, I activated my wipers and the clips were torn off and the rubber was trailing across my windshield and the metal tabs were scraping across the glass. The manager of the Mobil Station destroyed my wipers. He out and out damaged and destroyed my blades so that he could make a fraudulent $60 sale.
DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS, HE IS A CROOK!
