I went down with my fiance an hour before closing and were refused service. We had called the main customer service line to change my account pin and since we couldn't access the old phone or SIM card. The lovely phone rep instructed us to go down to our local store, so they can confirm our identity and confirm us as the owners of the account. We made it down there, as mentioned, an hour before closing, with the understanding that this wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do. When we arrived the door was locked with the lights on and a hand drawn sign saying "back in 30 minutes" without an indication of when, and a worker, sat behind the counter that was situated right across from the glass door. She was just sat on her phone and when she saw us she tried to indicate that they were closed. When we pointed at they're posted hours and us double checking the time to make sure we weren't in the wrong, she went to the side room, leaving the door partially opened. If it was closer to 7 I would understand, but we were there before 6:10 pm and they're hours of operation, both online and on their front door, say they are open from 10 am to 7 pm. This is my closest location for Metro and I have got to they're other locations, much closer to closing for much smaller things and they never had an issue. I can understand the store needing to close earlier for different reasons but I can't understand the need to close an hour early and still have an employee sat in the store in the view of customers
