ASK FOR A DETAILED RECEIPT!! We went in just for a new phone. My husband picked the Revll which was $200. When we got to paying the total was $350, I asked the lady why is it $150 more than the price of the phone? She said, “it’s mostly taxes on the phone and the activation fee” we accepted that and paid the $350. After leaving I asked for a detailed receipt (she didn’t give us one on her own) and the receipt showed 5 items we did not agree to pay for. A wall charger that she claimed she was giving us “free” if we would give her a good review, a pop socket that we never even saw, two screen protectors and a phone case. Totaling $133 dollars. She said the phone case and screen protector was “on the house” which was a lie and she charged an EXTRA screen protector that we didn’t even get. If we had to pay for the case and screen protector that’s fine, just don’t lie and tell us “it’s on the house”. We would’ve just ordered something on Amazon being there is better priced things. We went back to the counter and asked for a refund she immediately got defensive and said “this is a bundle deal”… like what??? You’re charging us for items you said were included and items we didn’t even get at all plus a charger you said was free so we could give a review.. and this is a “bundle deal”?? Made no sense. She didn’t argue long, made a call to her manager and refunded us cash.
Overall very disappointed with this whole transaction and experience. And I’m sad to think about everyone who’s been over charged at this store and didn’t know it. I would give zero stars if it were an option.
