McDonald Mazda South in Littleton

I wanted to give this place a good review but I can’t in good consciousWent for appt with Lois that went well he had the car I wanted. I guess there was a new paperwork system so it took a lot longer than I expected which would be fine BUT towards the end I was rushed out (not by Lois). My brother came with me and was out in his car for 20 seconds before someone came out and rushed him out stating he couldn’t close the gate until he left.Then I come back to pick up the car the next day, I noticed it rode REALLY rough; turns out there’s steps that Mazda wants the dealers to take and they decided to skip step 3 (checking fluids, taking air out of the tires to reach OEM specs etc) they decided they didn’t feel like doing it and were so lazy that they left the sheet in the car (pictured). The tires were at 52 PSI when I got home(pictured). I was told by the sales manager that it’s digitized but I doubt this because step 2 was filled out in writing, and the tires hadn’t been manipulated telling me they skipped step 3.Next is I told them not to detail it because dealers are notorious for scratching the F*** out of brand new cars because to save costs they pay their detailers at $14/hr. So they put 3 stickers on, a McDonald Mazda sticker that’s letters were sideways and had bubbles in it, and 2 emergency roadside assistance stickers, both of which were put on crooked (pictured), they also didn’t fully take the plastic wrap off of any of the wheels. Dealers always look at me strange when I tell them not to detail it but why would i trust people that can’t put a sticker on, tear film off, or do the bare minimum paperwork Mazda requires them to detail a brand new car that has 0 flaws.Last thing is the ride quality - it is by far the stiffest most uncomfortable ride I’ve ever had in my life (I’ve been in probably 90 cars in my life) due to the hard cheep wheels, stiff suspension, and 18” wheels with short sidewalls. I gave them a chance to wright all the wrongs but they’re not able to. I wish I would have been notified of this beforehand after telling them that most of my driving is stop and go in the city.I would strongly recommend going somewhere else, the people are all very kind and I like them all as people but would avoid them for anything professional where money is exchanged.I am going to fix the ride by downsizing to 16” wheels with bigger sidewalls and quality tires.I will avoid this place from now on and recommend everyone else does the same. I’m excited for the day when dealers no longer exist and you can buy straight from the manufacturer. They are an un-necessary part of the equation as Tesla and rivian have demonstrated

Went in to ask about a creak noise with my left turn and the service advisor London Holiday asks me questions and continually asked the same questions after I told him the same problem. He asks to test drive the car in the PARKING LOT which is full of left turns he stated... Well my dashcam shows otherwise! He took my car out of the parking lot as a service advisor and drives 16 mph through a dip in the road which makes my camera beep if you hit something too hard in which it does(video proof)then proceeds to comes back to the office saying he heard nothing in the parking lot and recommends a suspension lookover for a $101. He confirms via text he only drove my car and that was ONLY IN THE PARKING LOT before having belt/tensioner replacement service. ROLL THAT BEAN FOOTAGE.... You can clearly see the service number in the dash but this is the diagnosis i get? Definelty not the parking lot! (Video and picture included)

Even though the Sales department is amazing and Art was wonderful helping me to pick up my car, I've got very bad experience with Mazda Service Center. I left my car clean and in pristine conditions. No need to say, since pictures say it all, I got my car back and couldn't even recognize it. It was so dirty inside and outside. I requested to do a car wash, but once I saw the inside, I was shocked. Attaching the pictures as a proof.

My wife and I went out and traded our older Mazda cars for some newer variations of the cars. We couldn't be happier with the service we were given and the overall purchasing experience. My wife was so excited to get a newer 2020 Mazda 6. She has absolutely loved the car ever since she started driving it off the lot. She is so proud of the decision she has made. As for me, I can't stop having a smile on my face while driving the newer Mazda CX-50. I'm always excited to go out for a drive now! 😁 Donovan & Collin are outstanding sales reps who kept us in the loop and were there if we had any questions. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and both have a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend talking with either Collin or Donovan. Also, appreciate Ian's down-to-earth and very friendly walkthrough on the financing/leasing process. He never hesitated to answer our questions during the process and addressed any concerns we might've had—a very smooth and relaxing experience. Overall, a fantastic dealership experience for both car purchases. This dealership continues to prove that Mazda cars are excellent cars and that they should be on everyone's consideration list for their next car. Highly recommended!!! 🚙 🚗

I would like to give a kudos to both Ashley and Christopher. Both of them were great salespersons. This was my 1st Mazda that I ever drove and bought in 47 years. I was referred to them by family members who own Mazdas. Both of them showed excellent customer service and professionalism in the deal from start to finish. It went smoothly ant they were accommodative. I would like the leadership team to award them. I will coming back to this dealership on future services and highly recommend them to my colleagues . This review actually from a Ford Mustang prior owner if you can believe it!!!

I visited McDonald auto south last July to order a new mx5. I was fortunate enough to meet Ashley Licht, a sales consultant there. She made sure that the whole process flowed smoothly from start to finish, and that I got exactly what I wanted. I was treated very well. Thank you to the team in parts, McDonald south and Ashley. I am really enjoying my new Miata.

We purchased a 2024 Mazda CX-5 from McDonald Mazda and Ashley was our sales person. The whole process was easy and Ashley was lovely to work with. Her knowledge about our car was impressive and she was very non-pushy, which is what we love about her. We would definitely buy another car from Ashley and this auto group hands down and we recommend you stop by this dealer if you are in the market for a Mazda.

Beware of McDonald Mazda Broadway! Bought a CPO Mazda from McDonald. Car needed warranty work on a defective shark fin antenna so I brought it in for them to look at. I gave explicit directions for them not to try and push or pull on it. Service advisor Phoenix took over my car and had to bring it down to their collision center. He wouldn’t let me take it down. When I received the car back he said I need an appointment with collision center for them to take my headliner down to not crease it. Also noted to him that they did in fact mess with my antenna as there was now a slight dent in my roof around it. He noted this with their service manager Adam.I get home and what do I find…they in fact already creased my headliner. I called collision center to make an appointment multiple times and never received a call back to schedule. I called Phoenix and Adam and they said it’s now out of their hands and the collision centers problem to fix. No one has returned my calls as they know they screwed up and are hoping I just stop trying….I went to Groove Mazda on Arapahoe. They were the most caring and professional service department ever. Took care of my antenna under warranty without question in under an hour. They will be my go to dealership from now on. I even asked them to replace the dealership plates to theirs as I await my new plates!!!I will be reporting McDonald to USA Mazda and the Dealership licensing board/commissioner. They have the most inexperienced and immature staff there, don’t take responsibility when they screw up and don’t care. Beware everyone! This ain’t the first I’ve heard of complaints about them. Just wish I knew before I went there. Hope I can spread some awareness amongst the Denver community here.

I feel compelled to share with the community my recent experience at this dealership to warn other potential customers about the sales tactics this dealership uses mainly to keep others informed.On Wednesday 11/27, my significant other inquired about the CX-70 PHEV at the Mcdonald Mazda South location to test out and drive the vehicle. After two days of shoping other cars and other dealerships, the communication (via text) from Arturo and his sales manager Bego, became inappropriate, unprofessional. and quite frankly fairly aggressive to bait her to come in and make a sell without me there.[NOTE: You can see the text thread to the dealership in the picture attached.]Although I personally was there during the test drive, I didnt have any say or further communication with anyone at the Mazda dealership. However, when my girlfriend said she didnt have any money down the sales rep stated that "your boyfriend" (me) should pay for the down payment on the vehicle. She stated we keep our finances seperate and that I wouldnt pay for the downpayment on the vehicle. He then proceeded to say she should get a new Boyfriend and that I should not be apart of the process of the transaction as "your boyfriend has negative energy" and she should come in "Alone". Again, i had nothing to do with the communication or anything and was just there to be with her to test drive the vehicle. I was not apart of the communciation of text going back and forth between the sales rep either.What's particularly disappointing is that this type of aggressive sales behavior goes against modern car-buying expectations, where customers deserve respect and space to make significant financial decisions. Both representative's conduct was not only unprofessional, but also made my girlfriend feel pressured, uncomfortable, and to the both of us - disrespected.I strongly advise potential customers, especially women, to be cautious when dealing with this dealership. There are many other reputable dealerships in the area that treat customers with respect and professionalism.I have reported this incident to the dealership's management and the other appropriate consumer review platforms as well as the BBB.UPDATE: Already had a discussion with you @Jason and you made me feel as if these type of issues happen often. Nothing was done from our phone call yesterday. What else do you want to discuss?

This is honestly the best experience I’ve had at a dealership. I worked with John Karimy who helped me buy a new CX-5. John was so friendly, helpful, and easy-going. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy that day when I walked in but John and his manager, Adam actually made me a deal too good to pass up. They offered me a really good price for my old truck and weren’t pushy which is hard to find. Also one thing that was surprising to me was the finance guy, Val, was actually the nicest finance guy I’ve ever had. He didn’t push the warranties on me so hard like every other one has, he just offered them, respected my choice, and was just all around a really friendly and helpful person. Overall a 10/10 would recommend buying from here and from John Karimy specifically!

Being a current Mazda owner, I’m familiar with the quality of Mazda and knew I wanted to consider a newer model when deciding to update my car. We worked with Arturo who defies the reputation of a car salesman. He was honest and really listened to our needs, both in a car and budget. He honored our request when we wanted to do our due diligence to check out another car maker before choosing the Mazda. He wasn’t pushy at all, but worked hard with his sales managers to get the car within our budget when we ultimately decided to return to Mazda. We were in awe of his commitment and respect, and would highly recommend working with Arturo and the McDonald Mazda team!

We had a great experience with Amil and Morgan! While we didn’t end up purchasing a vehicle (we decided on a different brand for our specific price/space constraints), the test drive and sales process were very smooth. Amil was new, but he was professional, kind, and well-trained. Morgan helped us with some of the finer pricing details and also with the Costco program.The showroom experience was also good. They had excellent Dazbog coffee, along with fresh, warm cookies.Based on my first experience with Mazda here, I will 100% consider Mazda (and specifically this dealer) in the future.

Buying a car from McDonald Mazda South was one of the easiest car buying experiences I have ever had. The entire team there was incredible, knowledgeable, and made the process so stress free. Buying a car can be very intimidating but I never once felt pressure from anyone which I am so grateful for. Collin was amazing to work with. He made the process so fun!! I can’t thank them enough!

I purchased a brand-new Mazda from this dealership in April 2023 using an employee discount. From the start, the experience was awful. The salesman, Carrie, was rude and unprofessional. He outright said, “Well, I’m not going to make any money off of you,” when I explained I was using my step dads employee discount. He refused to help me find a car that fit my needs, only relenting when I asked to work with someone else. Even then, I wasn’t allowed to choose the color or model I wanted—just the cheapest car on the lot.A month later, after I wrote a review about my experience, the service manager called me to apologize. He promised that I would never have another experience like that again and even offered me a $200 gift card to change my review. At the time, I accepted the gift card and adjusted my review, but I regret doing so because nothing has improved.Since then, I’ve been going to another dealership for my regular maintenance, and it has been an amazing experience every time. However, I’ve needed last-minute oil changes twice recently and decided to give this dealership another try. Both times were absolutely awful.During today’s visit, I walked out without getting my oil change. The person helping me was rude and pushy, trying to upsell unnecessary services, yet didn’t even have my correct account information pulled up. When I pointed it out, he brushed it off like it wasn’t important. On top of that, he told me I’d have to wait two hours and made no effort to find an alternative or show any consideration. The experience was so frustrating that I decided to leave.This dealership has been consistently rude, disorganized, and unprofessional. After multiple chances, I will never return and strongly recommend others avoid doing business here.

The salesperson that help me was Eric R. he introduced himself to me when I walked into the dealership. He answered all my questions. He helped me through the process of a test drive credit application and final purchase. Eric R. is a gentleman and true professional. I am a happy customer of McDonald Mazda South.

I bought a brand new Mazda CX-5 in may. I went to Discount Tire the other day and they told me that the tires on my car with 14,000 miles on them were finished. They said that this could be due to high tire pressure. They said, while the factory recommended pressure was 35, my car was over 45. When you buy a new car, no one can imagine that an authorized service would do such high air pressures in an amateur way. So definitely have your tire pressure checked when you buy a car from here. Otherwise, you will lose $1,000 like I did, and when you tell them, they say it's not their fault.

Had a great new car buying experience at McDonald Mazda South. Would recommend anyone looking at Mazdas to go there and work with Arturo. Highly professional, knowledgeable, helpful and makes the experience as painless as buying a car can be.Having been looking at options in the huge 3-row segment for ages, we had a lot of awful experiences inside various dealerships. Working with Arturo was by far the best.The entire dealership and staff was great. Of course they all had their various roles to play once we got into negotiations, as to be expected - good cop/bad cop and all that -but it was done much more professionally than most other places. We had been shopping for months and never felt pressured or rushed by this team - quite unlike most other dealerships we visited. Service Advisors seemed great as well.For anyone considering a 3 row SUV don't forget to look at the CX90. It works very well for our family of 2 kids, with the need for occasional hauling of additional kids. But if you have a bigger family where a 3rd row would be in use full time, I could see how something a size class up would make more sense.We wanted something that didn't drive or look like a boat, and the Mazda feels more like a large wagon than a hulking SUV. The steering and handling is much better than anything else in the segment too, by a lot. The interior design and finish also puts the others to shame.The closest contender was the Acura MDX, but the interior was better in the Mazda, and the fun to drive factor was about the same. To get better than either of those, we'd have had to pay $20k*$30k more to go German, and the commodity-class 3 rows were all an absolute Snoozefest, with the exception of possibly the Ford Explorer ST - but we had no love for the interior of that one.Cons to the CX90 are the ride is not as compliant as others - 21" wheels probably don't help this, so maybe its better in lower trims. The safety tech is overly intrusive and obnoxious. And in our case, the PHEV engine is not very exciting to drive or listen to. We went in looking at the inline 6 version, but the tax credit-driven incentives made for a super attractive lease on the PHEV.But if I could do it over, I'd have paid a little more for the same trim with the non-PHEV engine. I really wish I had stuck to my plans for that instead of being swayed into a PHEV. And after the tax credits are gone on EVs I can't imagine anyone would pay a premium for the PHEV - neither Mazdas nor any other brand's.As a PHEV goes I think the CX90 is probably a really good one, but we're just not plug-in types of people. So it's a Buyer issue more so than a Vehicle issue. But we were ok to experiment with a super cheap lease. We shall see.But if you are someone who wants a PHEV, Mazda is the only 3row offering one near this price point, and it's a very nice car. But you better move quick to get one in 2024 before the tax credits expire, and you should definitely buy it from Arturo at McDonald Mazda South!

He took his time to show me the cars on the lot and talk about all the featuresBig ups to Steve the sales manager as well for working with me to get the price right and Ian in finance to get me through the paperwork quickly. Everyone was very professional, I never felt that I was being pressured or upsold, and the dealership itself was a nice location to spend some time in as you're making your decision. Had a great experience buying a cx30.Ashley and Eric listened to what i wanted and were instrumental on making the purchase meet my requirements, closing was simple and easy and the whole process took less than an hour! Definitely check out this place and ask for them!

Just another dealership here. Happy to get you into a new car, but the second you need service or a warranty claim, they become a bunch of weasels. When you buy a car, skip all of the extended care, oil changes, etc. because you'll be much better off taking it to a real shop from day one than trying to get any work done at the dealer. They suck at scheduling, their techs are incompetent, and they'll charge you double what a local shop would. Don't think these guys are any different from any other dealer out there.

Great experience! Bego & Ashley were such a help and worked with me to find the best fit based on my budget & wants in a car. Honestly, I had fun hanging with them and working the deal. They even picked me up the next day since I wasn’t turning my car in! Thanks so much for a great experience and getting me into my first Mazda.Bonus points for Louis who is new and shadowed - he was so nice.

Arturo was amazing throughout the entire process. We needed some time to seriously consider the cost of the CX 50 vs keeping our older Subaru and he was patient and did not pressure us into something we weren’t ready for. Once we committed to purchasing the CX 50, he was very quick to answer all of our questions and made it a very smooth and easy process!

What a terrible experience! Every time I go to change the oil, it's a torture. I only bought a new car CX-5 last year, and every time I have to buy various additional services, the most exaggerated of which is that I only drove 15000 miles per hour and had to change all four tires. The quality of the cars you sell is unbelievable, and I'm starting to doubt if I should switch to another brand of car next time! When I bought the car, I had already bought the oil change service 6 times, but the second time I went to change the oil, I was asked to pay more than 💲100for the oil change, and I also added a plan to exchange the front and rear tires, which cost about 💲119 .I am not sure if it is an after-sales service issue or a deliberate attempt to make the customer spend more money. Today, I issued a proposal that requires me to pay a total of 1089.93 US dollars, and I am really speechless! This is a list for changing tires and brake pads. I really doubt the quality of your car with a speed of less than 20000 miles ！

I bought a CX5 from McDonald Mazda South. Ashley was not my original sales person but the day I went to pick up my car she helped me get all set up on the app and showed me how to use my car. She was very knowledge and fast (I was short on time). Less than a month later my fiance wanted to buy a mazda so I texted Ashley and asked her to help us. She was able to sell him a brand new CX 70 before it even got on the lot! She is great, the only female on the sales team :) and probably the most knowledgeable! I would totally recommend working with her.

This a strictly a review of service department. Had a warning code that was triggered by unplugging and plugging back in parking brake electric cable and mechanic at our local repair shop couldn't reset because Mazda is the only ones that can reset the warning light. Parking brake works fine. There is a service bulletin about this issue and McDonald Mazda charged $101 to simply reset light. Please do not go for any service to your dealership.

Charged $101 to simply reset a warning light that was triggered by simply unplugging the emergency brake electric cable in order to fix the cupholder. The emergency brake works fine and there is a service bulletin where only Mazda can reset the light. Our usual mechanic couldn't reset and would have gladly reset for free when changing oil. Please don't use McDonald Mazda or for that matter any dealership for service.

I had been going back and forth with a rep for my lease renewal, told them what I was able to put down and what I could afford monthly. Upon going in for my appointment, the rep and his manager quadrupled my down payment and double the monthly. No counter offer, no trying to get me into a different car, nothing. I was told I could just turn my car in but that Mazda would send me a bill for $4000 because of ‘hail damage’ on the roof of my car. I left. GO TO SCHOMP MAZDA INSTEAD!!!! They don’t charge the outrageous ~$800 rep commission fee and they’ll actually provide you with a positive customer service experience. Schomp Mazda brought my car through for a wash and was able to see that it WASN’T actually hail damage. I’ve never been so disappointed than I was at Mcdonald South. Maybe it’s just because I was a woman there on my own and they thought they could pull a fast one.

Update: Oct 2024I am still not driving. I bought my car from McDonald Mazda in January. I have had about 6 or 8 weeks out of 10 months, that I could actually drive. I still pay a whole car note, insurance and even parking for it to collect dust.The folk at Mazda are cold blooded.Update. The department of motor vehicle advised me to contact a CO State agency over automotive industry. Apparently, McDonald Mazda missed some steps concerning paperwork when selling the car to me that was from Canada!! Go figure. The plot thickens.Update. My car is still not driveable but I still have to make my car payments. Also, since I am tKing public transport and walking everywhere, I have torn tissue in my knee As of last week. But I'm sure sales people at McDonald Mazda and that low vibrational Manager are still pushing junk cars and leaving people stuck .If you buy from them after reading this review, you are Also part of the problem.As Jacob said, he is "not in the business of giving money away, he is in it to make money" Apparently, at the expense of single women, low income and people that don't have the powerhouse legalteam of Mazda McDonald behind them. Heartless & RuthlessI bought a used car January, 6 2024. Two weeks into April, my engine died. I overpaid for the vehicle, if not for a warranty I purchased separately, I would be F@#$$.Beware sales and finance team are super nice until you sign and then you're on your own.I'm disappointed because this is my second time buying a car from McDonald Mazda. The first car experience ( bought a Mazda) was a bit better that is why returned, but I won't again. I feel robbed. I don't think they really condition trade ins before they push the junk onto someone else. I was in a tight spot and buying a junk car just made my life worse.UPDATEHere I am again 2 months after an engine replacement!!looking at another $4500 repair job. Did the math, I paid $13,000 for the car, plus tax insurance, registration tags etc, I bought their useless warranty, resulting in an over $20,000 loan. 3 months after having the car the engine fails it cost $10,000 to replace the engine in addition to another $1,200 I had to shell out of pocket for things that are not covered by warranty. 2 months after the engine is replaced other things are failing costing over $4,500. In a 6 month span the cost to fix this vehicle is more than the car was for sale on the lot. But the sales manager at Mazda said you bought the car as is. That response and their lack of compassion is criminal. No one walks into a reputable dealership expecting the dealership will sell them a brick, that is basically what they sold me. I financed a useless brick. They get to benefit there's no benefit for me. I can't even sell the car I would be upside down.If I had read the reviews before going back to Mazda for another vehicle, I would have gone somewhere else. Hopefully if you are reading this review as a potential customer, take heed to this review and the many many other reviews about junk cars that Mazda Littleton is selling.If you need more details feel free to reach out to me I'll let you know everything and I am going to post a social media page proving all of the diagnostics for the car since I bought it. I am also going to reach out to consumer protection because bullies like Mazda Littleton need the light shined on them. It's hard to reach Jacob the manager. If I were him I would make myself unavailable as well because I'm sure they get tons of calls for all the junk they sell.Update:It's August and I still don't have a car to drive even though I financed one from this location in January of this year. Perhaps I will tell the finance company why I am letting the car get repo'd.If you bought a car good luck if you're thinking about one think again. Perhaps it's because I'm Black.
