Went in to see if I could exchange 16 quarters for 4 dollar bills, the attendant said he wasn't able to open his drawer without someone buying something. Understandable, so I went and got a drink really quick. I came back to ask if the drawer would open if I used a card because that's all I had on me, the drawer happened to be open already from the customer in front of me. He said "it's fine, the drawer is already open" I said while laughing "okay, perfect, now I don't have to buy the energy drink. Ill put it back after I exchange these quarters 😊". He quickly slammed the drawer and said in a shitty tone "no I don't need quarters" then waved his hand at me to shoo me away.
It was rude and he could have said from the start that he would exchange them for paying customers only or that he doesn't have the dollar bills to spare so couldn't make the exchange. Whatever the reason, it would have been valid without the rude response, hand gesture, and drawer slam 🤷♀️
