If it's your first time here, it's always best to check in with the security officer at the guard station which is located immediately in front of you if you're driving or walking through the entrance. Their circumstances regarding parking availability can change from a day to day basis.
They do have private auctions of vehicles here on Wednesday's and you have to be a licensed car dealer to participate in the auction. That said, you can't just walk through their lot without an Auction Access card.
If you're here in regards to PASHA or Hawaii Car Transport, yes, it is here. However, sometimes these businesses give out the wrong information about their hours of operation. Whether you're here to pick up or drop off a vehicle for shipment, here are the ACTUAL times they are open:
Sunday/Saturday: closed
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9am-3pm
Wednesday: 2pm-3pm (due to the auction in the morning)
Friday: 9pm-2pm
Holidays: closed most federal holidays
NOTE: They are closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm daily.
Also, if you're shipping a vehicle with them, be sure to arrive with only a quarter tank of gas in your vehicle. They are not permitted to allow vehicles with over a quarter tank of gas on the boat they'll be shipped on due to weight restrictions. But, don't arrive with an empty tank either. They need fuel to be able to drive the car to the pier and back off the boat when it reaches its destination. Just try to keep it as close as you can to a quarter tank... also, if you have a hybrid vehicle or a small gas tank, don't think you'll be let off easy with this. They are not permitted to differentiate and must abide to a simple and global standard.
If you're here to pick up a repossessed vehicle or grab belongings from your repossessed vehicle, you must have an appointment to do so, no matter what your bank says. Sometimes they'll say that you can just go down there, but, nope! This is wrong. Call Manheim and make an appointment.
