ZERO stars for Make the Cut. Run-down location. I went twice to Beth for a cut and style. First time was okay. I brought pictures which she hurriedly looked at and proceeded to trim. I have a short style to begin with so it was just a matter of shaping a little. I liked the style of cut, - So, 5 weeks later I went back for another trim in order to maintain the shape and style.
THIS TIME, Beth did not ask if I wanted a shampoo, and did not even wet my hair. She brushed my hair to the top of my head and chopped into my dry hair! She cut the front bangs and wispy sides almost completely off. It was a rushed chop, chop, chop - done!
This is Beth’s special $50 service for “seniors.” When you check out with a debit card, you are first prompted for a tip amount. I left 20% the first visit, 15% at this visit. STUPID ME. I know Beth has many years experience and skill to deliver satisfactory service and results but she chose to put ZERO effort into my service. Now, it will take six months of growth to regain enough length to re-style my hair.
Make the Cut salon is just one hairdresser in a run-down location offering STOP & CHOP service. For a bill over $60, I feel I was taken advantage of.
