I was in a bit of a bind. I had totally forgotten my Nieces birthday, and was dully reminded of that fact by my Sister when she called me up and said: "you haven't forgotten Chrissy's birthday have you, and you are coming up to the party tonight -- right"? Of course I haven't forgotten her birthday, I answered, I'll be up as soon as I get off work. Now you see my dilemma.Fortunately, my co-workers are quite savvy when it comes to suggestions for last-minute birthday gifts for the absent minded, and they recommended LUSH on the Pearl St. Mall. So, on my lunch hour, I stopped by to see what they had to offer. Now, I am no expert when it comes to cosmetics, and was immediately overwhelmed by the variety of choices LUSH offered that catered to the feminine mystique. The Salesperson kind of figured this out when I approached her with a totally befuddled look on my face and asked for assistance. She said I could go with an individual product, or could get one of their gift sets that contained a variety products that my Niece would enjoy. LUSH has bath bombs, shower bombs, (and here I thought the only place you could bomb was on stage, but the shower -- who knew?) skin care pproducts, a variety of soaps, and I might add all LUSH products are homemade.I ended up getting her a gift set, that had a bath bomb and other items in there that takes cleanliness and smelling pretty to a whole nother level, and they gift wrapped the whole thing so it looked like I actually knew what I was doing. The sales staff is very professional, and I might add patient with all the questions I had, and it was due to their expertise that my Niece got a very nice birthday present. So, if you are ever in need of a birthday present, (or a present for any occasion) that takes thoughtfulness to the next level, might I suggest LUSH on the Pearl St. Mall. The staff can help you navigate the wide variety options they have, and can custom tailor a gift that will be sure to make her heart smile. They are a little shop with a big heart and a lot of panache, and for all their help and advice I say -- thank you and Bravo Zulu!
