Lowe's Home Improvement in Seattle

Very friendly regular employees on the floor. Super nice with the exception of the customer service desk ladies and self check out lady. Here's my story if you're interested! So, I bought 3 drapes that were sitting right by checkout on its own fixture and next to that another fixture that had Seasonal stuff except Xmas and had a sign that read - 50% off last marked price and there was also a cart full of bath/shower hoses and fixtures and stuff that had a sign that also read 50% off last marked price. So, the drapes I got were clearanced tagged at $10.00 each and an item that had to be manually overwritten and approved by supervisor. The item was in the bath cart and it wasn't 50% off marked price they gave me 90% off that item. It took a while for them to manly override it and get the approval and I was late and had to go to the back and start work. A few days later I purchased two more that were also clearly tagged at $10.00 but now the cart is gone as is the seasonal fixture. Left is the drapes fixture with a 50% off last marked price sign. So, I got them for $5.00 each. So again ring up at 10:00 but overridden to five each and approved. I went in a few days later to Customer Service with my original receipt cause I was charged $10 each for the three and wanted it at $5 each. What a hassle and humiliating this interaction was! The young lady at customer service was even saying that she doesn't understand why I think I should get any money back, saying that they weren't 50% off even tho they up there with the other items cause it didn't have it's own sign, and basically that I should not be able to return them and repurchase and get a better deal. By the end of the interaction I was frustrated and frazzled, I told her to just keep them. I want to return all three and I will be bringing in two more that I actually got at the correct price cause I can't do anything with just two. After all that crap, She has the audacity to look at me and say (after making me feel like a scumbag for trying to actually get a deal on Christmas) if I still wanted them at the $5 each price then they will give it. So, I said there is no way that I am buying these now and I want them returned. Knowing full well that these will go back out to the fixture after I return them and if I really wanted them then I will just buy them the next day at $5 each. 48 hours later.... all three are still sitting there on the fixture. I take them to the self checkout because that was all that was open. This time the $10 price stickers have been removed from all three. It seems the customer service took them off before they put them back. Of course the self check outlady goes to scan them and it comes up $10 so she tries to charge me $10 a piece for them and I said no they're 50% off the clearance price marked which was $10 on these. She has to manually give me the 50% off because that's what they did with the others so they're $5 and she said no the 50% off is auto applied and they're 10 dollars a piece. Which was what it rang up originally at and told her that I I had purchased two others of those same ones and got them for $5 a piece and she asked me for the receipt which I didn't have so I said this is b******* In the end, almighty God and the ladies of Lowe's do not want me to have these drapes. So I walked away. Unfortunately I didn't get to return the other two so now I'm stuck with two drapes that I'm not going to use LOL it's pretty frustrating. All they had to do was to return the three drapes off the original receipt and then ring them up again but override to the correct price. $15 would have been returned to my card and I would have left happy that I saved money and got a deal on something I really needed. But instead I left Frustrated and humiliated and Lowe's CS peeps intimately lost the sale and made the whole experience horrible and humiliating for me. I guess I just was not meant to save money or get a deal.

Throughout the process, he was extremely attentive, repeatedly checking and confirming the specifications. He also helped us gather information on discounts, making our purchasing experience truly enjoyable. In the winter of 2024, we bought additional curtains from him. Upon receiving the order, we noticed that one set of products did not match the color we originally discussed. Fritz quickly handled the exchange process, allowing us to receive the correct product in no time. Fritz is truly one of the best sales reps we have worked with! They had everything that I needed 🥳🤯 it was easy to find staff was friendly, available and knowledgeable. I had just come from Home Depot 👎 disappointed and pretty irritated because I went to cash out and they wouldn't take cash, Plus it took 4 associates to direct me to the closet accessory aisle, took another 3 different associates to help me learn that I needed to come back tomorrow when the closet guy was working. As he being the 1 and only closet guy that he might know what part I needed for my closet shelf brackets... So good job Lowe's you guys were stars today! 🤩 Thank you!!

Patrick in appliances is the best! I didn't buy a refrigerator off of him, but that's simply because I'm looking for something Lowe's doesn't have in stock. I would have if I could have. Super knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted as far as features, and tried to find the exact fridge I wanted, but I'm unicorn hunting and need to order one...

If you're buying lumber: DON'T Park Infront of the store -- instead, park around back (south side of building) -- the lumber AND lumber carts are all over there. Also, there is a cashier by that entrance, which makes the process of buying lumber super fast & streamlined. Lumber associate was VERY helpful -- he helped me sort through plywood sheets (to find the least chipped panels) -- and made several cuts without needing any other info from me. Overall: 5/5 stars (for today anyway)

Cleaner, brighter, and friendlier employees than Home Depot. Before I started shopping here because Home Depot didn't have a 10 amp drill in stock and Lowes did, I always thought of Lowes as the second choice home improvement store. Now that I have spent more time here, I find them to both be first choices.

Super friendly service but never pushy or overbearing. I never feel talked down to, even if I'm obviously describing what I need in the last accurate way. The app has a store map and the aisles are numbered, so I don't get lost very much.

Employees were helpful and informative and the store itself contains many wond'rous things! I have Thoughts and Opinions about how they store their MERV air filters (please if y'all are reading this if y'all're able to store them vertical instead of horizontal they are less likely to get bent) other than that tho 11/10 great experience helpful crew reasonable prices excellent hardware establishment.

I had been a loyal Best Buy client for all appliance purchases for the last 15 years until this week. I purchased a washing machine and delivery/install was a complete debacle. After 3 scheduled installation appointments, that never resulted in the installation happening, I ordered online from Lowe’s. My washer was delivered and installed in less than 24 hours from ordering. Thank you Lowe’s for setting a new standard of customer service. I really appreciate how they got the job done. You have a new appliance customer.

For this Lowe's being in essentially what I would consider at times a war zone, through no fault of their own, I am pleased every time I shop here. The staff is friendly, the things I need are usually well stocked, the app makes it easy to find things in the store. I have purchased a few power tools and unfortunately these days the tools are locked up. When I find an associate to get me the desired tool they do so quickly and with a smile. On-line orders are filled in usually less than a day and the in-store locker pickup makes it quick and easy.

Busy place, but always helpful and friendly employees! A bit understaffed, currently, it seems, so the wait time is a little longer than it normally would be. Thats to be expected this time of year, though, I suppose!! 'Tis the season... Can always find someone to help me find what I need, here. This is my "Home" store!
