NEVER BUY FROM LOWES! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
Bought a fridge that went out under warranty, had a tech out to look at it, and said he would need a part.....1 week later he forgot about me, and told me he needed 2 parts......1 week later, he said one part is unavailable (Lowe's still sells this fridge mind you). So I was going to get a refund (as a gift card....this is important for later). I tried to order a new fridge, and set a delivery date for 1 week out (earliest available). Well the fridge was clearly dropped off a truck, as it was in unimaginable shape....but worked. I begged the delivery driver to leave me the fridge because it at least worked.....it had been a month at this point I am fridgeless (got 3 kiddos too). The worker told me there was no way to leave the fridge, but someone would be calling me to get a replacement.
They called me and immediately said.....well why didn't the driver just leave you the operational fridge.....we do it all the time. So the lady called my driver back 15 minutes after he had left my house. She called me back to inform me that he had driven all the way back to the warehouse and unloaded the damaged fridge and wouldn't be able to bring it back to me (the warehouse is over 15 minutes from my house mind you). So after that lie, we set went about setting up for a new delivery.....SURPRISE! no fridge available for another 3 weeks. So Lowes wanted me to go over 2 months now without a fridge that was basically missing a screw part from one they still sell!
Now I just want out. SCREW LOWES! Nope, they wont let you. I got back on customer service (this is hours of phone calls mind you) and the lady says they will issue me a full refund (not a gift card refund), so I can buy a fridge somewhere else who can deliver it reasonably. I had to have this before I bought my other fridge, as I cannot afford to buy a new fridge and have a lowes gift card. She promised me (a multitude of times) that it would go back on my credit card.
Well 10 business days later I have no refund, so I call back in, and the lady says....oh well....the refund I see is processed, but is just sitting out here. So basically if I had not called back in, they wouldn't have done anything. Obviously, this lady tells me they cannot issue a refund back to my credit card and that I have to have a gift card, but I can take it to a store and see if a store will just give me cash for it (news flash....they won't).
So here I sit on another 52.09 minutes (and counting) phone call with customer service. As I have had my new fridge delivered (within 2 days by the nicest Costco people ever). Well now I am up shits creek, since Lowes will not give me the credit card refund and I have bought a fridge elsewhere.
Oh, and to boot, the original fridge that was delivered damaged, the delivery guys left a whole bunch of that Styrofoam packing stuff all over my yard when they left.
Seriously lacking customer support from tip top to driver bottom. This company has lost its customer service drive/desire, and probably won't issue a refund because they have no money anymore because they screwed every customer over.
DO NOT BUY FROM LOWES!!!!!
