Read MoreI went in really late because the lady next door had water coming through her ceiling! Well me being old-fashioned and helping your neighbor like I'm supposed to! I realized that it was a big problem and tore her ceiling out and a plumber friend of mine found that the drain pipe that hooks up to the bathtub of the upstairs unit was undone and when the people upstairs were taking a bath and running the water up to the top, It was draining down into the wall and had been doing it for a while so immediately I tore the ceiling out and headed to Lowe's to get my supplies!
When I got to Lowe's, even though they were about to close, as soon as I walked in I instantly got a hello welcome to Lowe's thank you for coming in! Well I needed drywall, drywall tape, mud, and sandpaper plus a little textured paint! I'm a novice DIY guy and went in knowing or should I say hoping I knew what I was doing and what I was looking for and while walking around the sheetrock section of Lowe's I had a young Lady who is an employee there approach me. She asked if she could be of any assistance, and it was like she was reading my mind because I couldn't find the drywall tape. I think she saw my look of being lost or confused but it wasn't her section so she wasn't sure where it was, but it didn't stop her from running and finding someone who was over that department to help me!
The part that impresses me is not only did she come back with them, she listened and learned as I did and when it was over she helped me load up everything on a cart and get it to the front to be checked out! It was customer service at it's finest and that's every time I go into a Lowe's! Whether it's North Little Rock or Bowman I'm always greeted and I'm always helped and never once have I had to run around looking for someone to ask a question to! Everyone is so nice, friendly, and welcoming! If all stores were run like Lowe's, this world would be a lot better place! Lowe's has been so amazing that I haven't even been to home Depot because I don't think there's any way they can live up to my expectations now that I've had the experiences I've had at all the Lowe's locations near me! Sorry Home Depot but Lowe's hired and trained the right people with the right process and now I'm a customer for life!
