I haven't had any issues with this store.
I'll start with this - I made my first new, retail LV purchase in years online in March. I had been buying preloved for quite a while. After the online purchase, it occurred to me that I had a little bit of savings and I wanted to treat myself. I also wanted to test some of the LV fragrances.
So here I go... I blow into this LV boutique at Somerset with nothing in particular on my mind. Gloria swiftly assisted me with my purchases with absolutely no problem.
My advice now looking back: Try not to do what I did. It's a busy store! If you want to carve out some real time with a Sales Associate/Client Advisor without feeling too rushed, make an appointment. Also, have some idea of what you want going in. Do a little research ahead of time. Of course you will probably want to explore the store and discover other things. An appointment will probably help you have the best luxury experience.
I'm so glad that Gloria was available and able to assist with my first walk-in to a boutique in so long. I was able to get her contact info and keep in touch about (and also secure) other items I'm interested in.
Since then, I've mainly popped in to quickly pick up items I've ordered, so I didn't think appointments were necessary for those quick visits. Someone in the store is generally available to get my orders if Gloria is not working that day, show the items to me if requested, and repackage so I can be on my way. For anything more than a few-minute visit going forward, I will absolutely make an appointment with my gal Gloria!
Gloria also assisted me with a lot of patience in a recent special circumstance order. Long story short, it was an order purchased for me by someone else that I still wanted to ultimately be in my own purchase history/account in case of any future need for repairs, etc. I also wanted to make sure she got the credit for the sale vs the giftee just ordering it online. She handled that with ease.
Most everyone else I have come into contact with at this boutique has been helpful and friendly as well. As I mentioned, it's a very busy store (assuming nights and weekends are busiest) and the SA's are usually pretty tied up with other clients. I have to give them props, because they all sure run their feet off every single day.
