ZERO STARS IF I COULD.
SHE RUINED MY WEDDING DRESS...get ready to read
I first dropped off my wedding dress on July 28, 2022. I felt owner had a good understanding of what I wanted done. Fix the neckline, adjust the straps because they were digging into my arm, hem, and bustle. August 27, 2022 I go back to try on my dress and to pick up. The neckline wasn't sitting right on me because of the way she folded in the material on the neckline. Straps are still digging in my arms. I was not happy and she said she could fix it, but the entire time she complained about my dress to my face. Saying "I have other dresses to do, but yours is too hard and it takes me too long", but then again, she said she would be able to fix it. I went and bought mesh so she could make the ribcage area wider so that the straps wouldn't dig in my arms. I left it there and on October 12, 2022 I went back to pick up the dress. I tried it on and the mesh was not widened. All she did was replace it. The straps continued to dig into my arms and cause redness. The neckline was uneven, 1/2 inch higher on one side than the other, to be exact. The stitching was sloppy and I was, again, not happy. Again, her excuse for her work was "your dress is taking too long and I have other people that I need to work on" and "your dress is difficult to work with". At that point, I leave and go home in tears because my wedding was three weeks away and I had no dress. The next day, my mom picks up the dress and we pay her for her work. I was able to find someone else to try and fix her mistakes. Unfortunately, she left no material for the other woman to fix and there was nothing that could be done to fix my wedding dress. At this point, my wedding was 3 days away and I had no dress. I had to go to a wedding dress store right before they closed so I could wear a dress that wasn't botched on my wedding day.
She never offered a refund or a discount. My wedding dress was roughly $1300 and I spent almost 1k on alterations for it to come out ruined and then spent more money to buy a brand new dress.
