When my husband had a business trip to West Palm Beach, and he started complaining about the breakfast at the hotel, I, of course, consulted Trip Advisor for help--"French bakery please!"I found him Loic Bakery-Cafe Bar, a mere .3 mile walk from his hotel, located in the Corcoran Real Estate building at Iris and Hibiscus.Hubby liked it. And, ever since then, I have thought, I need to visit him OTJ and try it for myself. I did; I have, and wow. Every bit as good as the reviews promised.I had the overnight oats with homemade granola and fruit, and interesting combo of grapes and blueberries, and yes, a chocolate-almond croissant. Did I say French bakery? Duh! Who wouldn't have a croissant, even with an attempt at a nutritious breakfast in oats. But they have omelets, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups, salads, and a catering menu.Yummo, as Rachael would say.I also had a lovely ginger-lemon tea, served in a pot, with the option of 2 pot refills. this was so homey. And, speaking of home, Katrina served me, and made me feel like she was a hostess inviting me for breakfast in her home. She was lovely, and made the whole experience a positive memory, even with Covid precautions.Loic is my Go To whenever I am in West Palm and crave a great croissant. There just isn't anything like it in my town.
