I am sure when this location first opened, it was seen as a step up from the original location opened many many years ago. If you read through the reviews, most of the high marks and 5 star reviews come from the grand opening and first few months. Unfortunately, as the months continue to go by, this Kroger location resembles the trashy Walmart down the road...which is a terrible hot mess.Big takeaways include: design flaws preventing proper customer flow throughout the store, continuously empty shelves on those items you'd expect to always be available, and a clear delineation from the friendliness of regular employees versus the management staff that never seems to be present.1. For this store to be newer, bigger, and supposedly better designed, it struggles a great deal. Parking lot is not well designed to allow easy flow of traffic. We often find ourselves playing the old school Frogger game because of the placement of entry to the store and stoplights. Inside the store, the exit point from the cash registers is too small. You really can only fit one family through at a time. Finally, although the store is bigger and the isle/pathways are wider, traffic flow design is extremely poor. It is a constant struggle during normal hours to successfully navigate.2. If management knows what the digital deals are each week, they certainly do not know show it. Within hours of the new sales ad being active, the digital deals are wiped out completely and not restocked the rest of ad week. Produce selection each week continues to diminish. And unfortunately basic items barely seem in stock. They either have ambivalent management or inexperienced management conducting their inventory.3. Regular employees are kind, helpful, and overall knowledgeable. As for management, I don't know because you barely see them. If you do see them, they are often criticizing employees throughout the store. It is a shame they don't present themselves as the leadership figures they are hired to be.Kroger of Brownsburg can be the elite of the three grocery locations. Unfortunately it isn't right now and frankly Aldi is a more enjoyable experience. Step up your game. Customers deserve better.
