Kohl's is not my regular shopping stop because it's too far from my routine errand path. I had a particular reason for being out in the Columns, so I looked around Kohl's.
Oh my gosh! I have been missing out. Within a few minutes, I found a blazer that I had to have, and a few effortless minutes later I found the faux leather pants to go with it.
This wasn't just impulse shopping, I've lost my way regarding my fashion zone, what looks good on me, flattering styles, appropriate for my age and lifestyle, etc.. So, I was excited about finding the closet at kohl's.
I liked that I didn't feel crowded in by the merchandise, I had room to breathe. When I paid for my items, my cashier was so sweet and friendly. She offered me the store credit card which I declined, but she was full of information about the benefits that made it very tempting.
I went to the Sephora section while I was in kohl's. I didn't see what all the hype is about. I expected better, more (?). The two young ladies were very nice and bubbly, and cute. I was wearing a new, white sweater and I got a grease pencil makeup on it. I hardly touched anything in the store so I don't know where it came from. The giggling girls told me that alcohol would clean it up and they offered a spray and paper towels. It didn't clean up at all. I took my sweater off because I was concerned about the makeup getting on other things. At home, I tried numerous methods to remove the makeup but nothing worked. I'm very good at fabric care/stain removal, so I was angry about my new sweater being ruined by something that I didn't even get into and couldn't correctly identify.
I'll definitely be back to shop at kohl's, but I will not go back into sophora.
