Scoped out online prior to coming in to the Boardman dealership. Already had a few vehicles in mind, and a budget we were sticking by. I always wear work clothes when vehicle shopping because you don’t know how many dirty behinds sit in a seat, on top of I’m mechanically inclined, so I always check a vehicle over thoroughly from bottom to top. The salesman said one of the vehicles was currently being sold, so talked us into other options, which was perfectly fine with me. I’m there and want to see what is available for us. It turns out that it’s listed for sale online, within our budget, but is in Service and has to be repaired and gone through inspection first. We test drive it. Decide we could make it happen and we were happy. We were to contact the salesman on the following day, Saturday, for an update on the vehicle. He states that service is on it, to contact later in the day. We did, no answer. So we figured to wait til Monday, possibly a busy Saturday, and tax season to boot. Instead of calling, we just walked into the dealership Monday morning 930 AM sharp. Only to get another salesman that said that the vehicle we wanted sold. And of course, pushed to vehicles we weren’t interested in and out of the price range. And yes, told the salesman from the start what we wanted, looking for, and price range. It’s simple. Do you have any or not. Save me time behind a desk and I will go elsewhere to look. I am not going to be forced into a vehicle that I don’t want, nor a brand new car when I am looking for a used one. Total waste of time Friday Saturday and Monday. I’m sure if I was dressed up in a suit and ready to purchase a brand new car, we would’ve been treated differently. Wasn’t out of this world what we were looking for. $8-15k vehicle, and to be honest, money is in the bank, not to brag, so it’d been a cash deal on the spot. Sold stocks. But regardless, I found what I was looking for at Cornerstone Trucks in Columbiana, Ohio. Perfect little 2019 SUV for my wife and only 55k miles. Thanks Chad and Nate for your help.
