After reading high reviews online, I called Jojo’s to ask if they could install new sights and a grip for me. I spoke to a really nice guy who told me "Yeah sure, bring it on down. We do that all the time". I went to the store the following weekend, only I did not get to interact with the nice gentlemen I spoke with on the phone, I was assisted by the owner. I explained that I needed help putting on a grip. He took the gun to the back to work on it. After a couple of minutes he came back out and began complaining about how he "doesn't like" this type of grip. This went on for probably 15 minutes. At one point he berated me like a child on whether or not I even read the instructions. He would go into the back to work on it, then come back out to the front every few minutes to complain about it. I finally asked him for his recommendation for an alternative since he clearly did not like this product. His response with a sarcastic chuckle - "Buy a bigger gun". As he said that, I looked to my right and hanging there was the same exact grip that I brought in.... He was finally able to get the grip on, but didn't tell me how he did. He told me that he would charge me for putting on the sights and for the "aggravation" of putting the grip on. The only positive aspect from this experience was the girl behind the counter. She talked to me about an alternative option to my grip, and was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The owner however made me feel extremely unwelcome. The few negative comments on Google reviews definitely resonated with my experience. Do not recommend Jojo’s, especially for women looking for a gun shop. I will not be doing business there in the future.
