Jake is my son’s barber, and the best in town. We look forward to this regular ritual. I truly appreciate bringing my son to Jake, who is professional, respectful and reliable. Someone I feel good about bringing my little one around. His shop is clean and kept well. My son always looks so handsome, no wonder his teacher says “he’s sought after”. Kidding aside, you won’t regret going with Jake as your barber. I also appreciate his natural ability to connect with people— adults and kids. Can’t always find that combo. We’ll be back in soon enough! I think it’s been close to, if not longer than a year, of my son seeing Jake for his regular cut. People like him make me feel grateful for the neighborhood community I’ve built up, not only for myself but for my children too.

He will do what is needed to accommodate his clients. His shop is very clean, well lit, and priced competitively. Always listens to me about my cut. Most of the time its the same, but sometimes I like to switch up a bit. He will listen and work with you until you're satisfied completely. Show him some love and give him your business! And after all who doesn't want to support a vet.

Just to preface this I have extremely thick, wavy hair that is almost impossible to manage. I spent years trying to find a barber that knew how to handle my hair without much luck until I found Jake. Not only does Jake know what he’s doing, but he’s thorough and you can tell that he’s not just trying to push you out as fast as possible. In fact, I’ve had some haircuts that were well over 45 minutes, something I’ve never experienced before in an industry that seems to prioritize efficiency and not customer satisfaction. Beyond being a great barber, Jake is an all around great dude and super easy to have conversations with. So if you’re in the market for a haircut, Jake’s your guy.

Best haircut i've had in 20 years. I've been getting frustrated with how my haircuts have turned out at some other shops, and couldn't figure out what to do about it. Jake took the time to listen to what I didn't like about my cut and showed me a better way to part it and style it. He's very meticulous and your hair is gonna come out looking really clean. He has his barber license so he can do straight razor shaves (Floyd's barber shop couldn't do that when I went there last time), which is a plus. I had to schedule an appt, but I think that's actually better than walk-in tbh b/c he doesn't rush through your haircut. 5/5 highly recommend.

J Fades goes above and beyond when it comes to providing exceptional customer service. I was impressed when on a recent Sunday evening, J came to my home to give haircuts and beard trims to me and my friends. He was willing to drive out and accommodate us outside of normal business hours, which really shows his commitment to his customers.
Even though the shop was closed, J made himself available simply because we needed haircuts. He didn't view it as an inconvenience but rather an opportunity to make his customers happy. This level of care and attention is hard to find these days.
It's clear that customer satisfaction is the top priority for J Fades. J takes pride in his work and relationships with clients. He listens to what you want and takes the time to get it just right.
