Great place to spend some quiet time.... beautiful sunsets over the lake.Playground: Spacious "common area" for the kids with a central bathroom. Volleyball & horseshoes are available...Restrooms: Central bathroom & another building with showers.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly provided that dog owners are respectful of others....

My wife and I wanted to go kayaking so we checked around and found Lake Tahoe was pretty expensive and crowded.A friend suggested Davis Lake.Wonderful experience.Kayaks were $35 for all day. Not well staffed and not very clean. Bathrooms where routinely overflowing with garbage. Showers where also not clean. Very crowded with little to no privacy. Staff was also unfriendly and rude.There is a much nicer campground down the road. Stay there instead.
