I purchased a shatterproof glass protector for my 6S iPhone. Unfortunately I did not check it for defects at the store. The sales person told me she could not attach it to my phone but I would have to do that on my own and that she had checked the shatterproof glass and that there were no imperfections in it. Although I did not see her do this, I did see her open the package and there were two cleaning swabs in there as well as a case holding the shatter proof glass. There were no instructions on the inside of the packaging.
I was on vacation on Santa Rosa Beach when my old glass protector shattered. I went to another boost mobile store to see if they had a replacement and they sent me to this location on Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL. When we got back to the hotel I used the swabs to clean off my I phone after pulling off the old protector. I removed the new shatter proof glass protector from its foam casing by the small Tab at the top of the protector when I saw the small bullet hole type of shatter at the top of the protector. After explaining all of this to Amber, she instructed me to take off a film using the small tab on the protector – and when I did start to pull on it a huge crack formed from the bull's eye to the left side of the screen.
After several phone calls she assured me that we could come in the following day (Sunday) at 12 o'clock and exchange the product for a new one or get a credit if they didn't have the product I needed. We had planned on leaving Pensacola Beach at 10:00 AM on Sunday morning since we had to go back to New Orleans. We would never have waited around another two hours if she had told us then and there that it was not returnable and they wouldn't give us a new one. Just a phone call from her telling us the truth would have saved us a lot of time and aggravation. I will contest this with my credit card provider as I think that the whole incident was avoidable. This particular item was defective and should've been replaced according to boost mobile's own warranty on the receipt. Please let me know how you want to handle this matter. I have a Boost Mobile account, number 504-715-9642 in the name of Lisette Schroth in Metairie, Louisiana.
P.S. I left the defective item with Elizabeth at your store.
