Read MoreWhile strolling the Ikea in Canton, Michigan I came across a set a beautiful patterned sheer curtains on display. Sadly tho, I could not find them located in the store. And then I found Katie. :) I was met with a friendly smile and eager enthusiasm to help me. Katie determined that set of curtains that I loved were not longer available and the only set in store was the one I saw displayed. She read my disappointment and offered to sell me the display set. I was thrilled. Katie (still smiling) kindly found a ladder to use to reach the top curtain rod to remove them for my anticipated purchase. While carefully folding them to hand to me, Katie shared that she felt privileged to be of service to me. Ikea leadership should be so proud to know that Katie is on their customer front lines. She is an impressive brand ambassador with excellent people skills and in my experience provides exceptional customer service and care. I don't know if Katie has any training responsibility for new hires. If not, she should? Very professional, sincere, kind, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and gives a customer first impression and experience. 😃
