AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE UNLESS YOU WANT THE OWNER BLAMING YOU FOR THEIR MISTAKES!
I brought in a dress shirt to have the sides and sleeves taken in. The tailer pinned the excess, asked if that felt good and I said, Yes.
When I got the shirt, though, it was way too tight in the back and armpits. I can't even raise my arm above my head without pulling out the tails and forget about putting both arms in front of me without ripping the seams.
I told the owner, Hayk, the shirt was too tight, and that's when the blame started. "You said it was okay, right?" "You said it was okay!"
Yes, I said it was okay when the pins were in and I was moving carefully to avoid getting poked.
No one asked, Do you need a looser cut? An athletic cut? Do you move around a lot? Nothing.
"You said it was okay!" He kept repeating it over and over. "I don't blame my customers, but you said it was okay."
Actually, dude, you do blame your customers. I said it was "okay" because I trusted the expert--your tailor--to know how to do her job and when the shirt felt a LOT looser.
She screwed up. Hayk refused to take responsibility for it. And now I have to replace what was a perfectly good dress shirt.
Don't trust the good reviews. They're either from people who got lucky or from friends of the owner.
