We just took delivery on our new Hendricks Sienna XLE 8 passenger, and the buying experience was great (as is our Sienna)! First our sales person Ibraheem Essader had to do almost the impossible, sell a model they didn't even have on their lot (this was not just Henderson but ALL the area dealerships). They did have a 7 passenger Limited model so he had to do his best to help us to understand what would be different on the XLE when we took the Limited for a test drive. He got most of it right and made corrections as he got more information. We had a color preference, and had to be an 8 passenger with a spare tire. Those were our "must haves". After we left the dealership and got home that night he called to say he looked at the upcoming inventory and they had one with our specs coming in "in 16 days", it was ours if we wanted to put a deposit on it. We did the whole deposit and hold contract on our smart phones. Well 16 days turned out to be closer to 20 but that's a transportation thing and out of the dealerships control (and we were told 16 days was an estimate). When it finally arrived and we came to pick it up, it was beautiful, just what we wanted, almost... Turned out this vehicle didn't come with the factory spare which was a show stopper for us. At this point, sales, service and parts managers came together to see how they could help. But the bottom line was we needed to get another vehicle. The good news was somehow they were able to lock one in that was 10 days out. At this point we had given our car to our son and were hurting for both using our only truck. Again Hendricks went above and beyond and offered us a complimentary vehicle while we waited on ours. This time 10 days turned into 9 and we got to bring our new Sienna home!During these waiting periods Ibraheem would keep us up to date having access to the delivery schedule. He also answered about a million questions I had, having still never seen an XLE 8 passenger in person. One day he called to say they had a presale XLE 8 passenger that we could come see if we wanted to. Not our color but it was great to finally see what we were getting. And after the deal was done he came out and sat with us in the Sienna and talked about all the safety features and how to use them, and even helped us sign up for the services we had access to, if only on a trial basis. We drove home very happy how Ibraheem and the Hendricks dealership had made this minor snag as smooth and painless as it could possibly be.We picked Hendricks for their reviews and lifetime power train warranty, Ibraheem was "the luck of the draw" when we dropped into the dealership on a crazy busy Saturday. Win-win as far as we're concerned. Looking forward to returning to Hendricks for our service needs!
