Why allow me at any location if fear of the employees safety is the top concern? The Hearing Connection was ready to see us within 24 hours of our call! They are making personalized molds for each ear and making real over the ear hearing aids in her wigs color to match to it. We also were given a digital print out of each ears abilities. The hearing aids themselves are miles and miles apart from the battery powered single use unit being peddled to medicare by Hear for Life. If you want to be treated like a criminal, as management would have you believe. By all means. If you prefer a quality experience with your Medicare funds and a responsible business I strongly recommend The Hearing Connection at 5500 Ming Ave #100 bakersfield, California. I really hope this review helps some folks who really need a good hearing aid but do not have expensive insurance. HEAR FOR LIFE TOOK 9 WEEKS FOR THE INITIAL HEARING AID. THE HEARING CONNECTION WILL HAVE THEM MADE WITHIN 2 WEEKS. BECAUSE OF HOW CRUCIAL HEARING IS TO LIVING.

I really don't understand how professionals in their field of hearing aids can order a 90 pound 4 foot 8 inch elderly woman an xlarge hearing aid. Recall these are hearing technicians, not a doctor among the staff. I made and kept a hearing appointment for my IHSS recipients all the way back in March. We recieved the hearing aid in May and on our follow up appointment 2 weeks later these technicians realized the discomfort being created by a grossly oversized hearing aid.
We were told that we would have the correct size hearing aid two weeks later. My recipients had me call 2 and a half weeks later to find out where the hearing aid was. I am obviously the worst person for wanting to have a tracking number because I am done hearing 2 more weeks from these professional technicians.
These professionals have told this elderly woman, on her 79th birthday that they are now canceling her order lol. Because they will not work with her ihss provider. I beg all your pardons. You folks have to do a much better job. I just want you all to know that now we have to report this to medi-cal and make sure this place refunds all the monies charged by their complete lack of professionalism, as well as make a formal compliant with the Americans with Disabilities. These technicians, are not doctors and have a very high opinion of themselves and their repeated short comings are not to be addressed or highlighted. After 13+ weeks this smells at least completely unprofessional if not fraudulent.
Now that my recipients have had the pleasure of seeing and using their hearing aids, they have finally come to terms with the fact that amazon has hearing aids for 50 to 100 bucks for a set that work just as poorly as the hearing aids being offered here but never actually delivered. LOL.... can anyone explain how a plastic hearing aid can be stocked by the likes of walmart and amazon and a center called hear for life some how 🤔 doesn't have a single unit on hand lol....
Wouldn't having the various hearing aids available during the appointments help these technicians to make the correct recommendations for their clients? I really don't understand this at all.
