I bought a car on Sept 1, 2018. Before I agreed to purchase the car, I was promised that the dings and scratches on the rear fender and the hood would be touched up. Its even written in my contract! With that there was also an agreement between both parties to have leather replace the whole stock interior, and since I live 2 hours away from the dealer, they would touch up the paint on the same day that they replaced the interior.2 weeks after the purchase they did the leathers and wrote up an order form to fix the scratches as well.I picked the car up one week later, and the touch up paint still wasnt done! When I asked why it wasnt done, the service manager said that he just forgot. So another week of calling and calling, I finally got a response from the originally salesman whom we dealt with. He mentioned sending a pen for touch ups in the future (or at least that's what I undrrstood). With still thinking that they would uphold their end and touch my paint up, I continued to try and reach a manager regarding the issue. Finally we drove the 2 hours to have them look at another light on the vehicle, when we were told by a "manager", that since the pen was sent in the mail, they would no longer uphold their end and touch the pain up at all.All in all, I feel that screwed us with that and I'm wondering if anyone could answer this question. Would they have to uphold the agreement since it's in writing? I have double proof that they agreed to do it and pictures that show they didn't.
