My MIL got a new washer and I offered to reconnect the dryer and washer. We ran an initial load and I noticed there was a small leak in the hot water valve. As I took a closer look, the unit was soldered, but I was able to remove the leaky water bib/stem. I figured Home Depot would have a gasket or something to take care of this. They didn't. In fact 2 different staff said, "the easiest thing is to open the wall and solder a new connection."
That wasn't going to work ... so I searched plumbing supply on my phone and found Hajoca. I got there and they found me a 'like part', and I was able to remove the part I needed, and install it to the piece at home. Staff was very patient and knowledgeable... and the customers were plumbers. I asked one guy for a quote to upgrade the water machine connections. Going to Hajoca was a win-win!
