Second time visiting Great Clips and had my hair cut by Mary for the first time. Online check in was easy and I went right in at my designated time. I will be heading back in a few weeks.
Edit: 4/19/2024. I have been going to this facility for the past 3 years and have enjoyed each visit because of the positive friendly staff and having a consistent cut each time. I see them typically on busy weekends hustling to get customers in with a positive mindset. Also it is close to my house, so, given the proximity of the facility and the excellent service I want to give them my business.
However today I went there to get a cut. I checked-in online with about 13 minutes of wait time. I drove to the facility and entered the facility at around 10:45 with approximately 5 minutes left on my wait time. As I entered a gentleman was exiting the first barber chair to the left hand side. He walked to the cash register with his barber and she asked it would be cash or credit. He said credit. He swiped his credit card and immediately turned to leave without acknowledging her. He had a very sour look on his face the Barber asked him if he wanted his receipt, without turning to look at her or he just said, "Nope" in very short defiant tone. It was obvious he just wanted to get out of there. I thought that maybe he was having a bad day until the barber turned to me without any sort of greeting or pleasantry, and asked me in a tone as though I were bothering her, if I checked in online. I told her yes and gave her my name, she looked at the records and then asked me again, in a tone as if I were bothering her, is it junior or senior? I then let her know that I was going to be leaving and would be back at another time. Her attitude and body langue completely changed, and she pleasantly said, OK.
I will not let this deter me from going back because of my past experiences there, but this interaction was well below par.
Edit, 4/20/2024: I went back the following day and it was great service as usual. I checked in on-line, walked in when notified via text message, waited just a few minutes and received a great hair cut from a friendly barber. Outstanding!!!
