I have a close friend that lives here. He’s 80 yrs. Old. I think he’s lived here for about 9-10 yrs. I’ve also done some caregiving here a few years back- Within these apartments I have found a community of genuine, kind, fun people. I often see the current manager working around the grounds and within the brief interaction we’ve had with my friend, she was helpful and professional. There are multiple times a week that residents gather in the clubhouse to play cards, bingo, dominoes etc… they stay connected and enjoy each other. Everything is taken care of according to repairs and weather conditions for all 4 seasons. Inside every apartment is an emergency pull string. There is a bus stop on the property that will take you to various places on and off the mountain, it is wheel chair accessible and is free to ride when your destination is on the mountain. Next door to the apartments is a senior community center, a base ball field, bbq grill with covered picnic table and an awesome outdoor type gym. On the other side is the Twin Peaks Fire Station. Also very near by on Rose Lane is a post office, on Hwy 189 is a mechanic, convenience market & restaurant.
This part of Twin Peaks is known for being a Great commuter location, I’d calculate it being about 4 minutes to Hwy 18 and about 25 minutes to get to the bottom of the hill.
