I ended up here to in celebration of a birthday and spend time with family that happened to be in town! I think it's a really cool idea and I love the concept of being able to make my own jewelry. In fact, I did manage to make a piece that is easily one of the most sentimental items own-- and I will absolutely cherish it! That said, I believe it's worth mentioning the price and time it took.
Despite it being appointment only. I don't think they properly planned for the amount of people they allowed to make appointments that day. My group was four people, and they took nearly 2 hours over the timeframe they estimated. They gave my group little attention. My aunt ended up having to leave early because they took SO long on our group and she had prior appointments. The other group finished an entire hour before us, plus a couple did more than one piece of jewelry. We didn't really do anything unusual and between the four of us one necklace and three rings. We were there about 5-6 hours total.
Then price... well, I think they've got decent quality stuff. But I believe it's way over-priced. Take a look at the picture of the stones, nearly all those small stones are at LEAST $20, some upwards of $50 to $70 per stone. On top of the stone, you pay for specific trim, the default chain, and tons of little add-ons along the way. It's worth noting you can bring your own stone... but they still charge you $15 to use something you bring yourself. The finished pendant you see below cost about $125 for the pendant and an additonal $100 for the chain. (Default chain is significantly cheaper)
Overall, can be a really fun and worth the one-time experience. But I don't think the quality and service are good enough to go back multiple times.
