Read MoreBeware and be thorough with your vehicle inspection! We purchased a vehicle for our daughter from the owner of September 2022. We did a test drive and did not notice any mechanical issues, so we made the purchase. Between September and November, we have spent a little over $3000 in repairs. The radiator had a leak, the battery was done for, there was an oil leak (which we asked the dealer about once we spotted oil on the ground and he swore it was not oil nor from that car), and an O2 sensor issue. All of this, and the car had a salvaged title (which we knew about and accepted after checking the VIN on carfax).
The dealer was very polite and easily likable. So much so, we told him we would be back because we have two more girls to buy for. That is the only reason we're not leaving a 1-star review.
Luckily, we put a few grand in the budget for repairs. We just didn't expect to run through it all in the first two months.
It is our hope that the owner takes more pride in the vehicles they are providing.
We will NOT be repeat customers.
