My original car broke down and we were struggling for a few days to figure out how we wanted to move forward with pre-owned, new, or cash for a car. I've always been intimidated by the whole dealership process. The negative reputation is that it's going to be long, tiring, circle talk, and pushy people that just see dollar signs when a potential client walks in. Thanks to KD, I have confidence that buying a new car doesn't have to be miserable; it can be fun and pleasant.
I called several places and KD was the most communicative, willing, & attentive person I spoke with. He said he would get me info and it was so easy to get straightforward answers for any silly thing I asked. He called me back. He got with his manager about towing my car for a trade in.
When I couldn't come to the Honda dealership until his day off, he was incredibly kind to say it wouldn't be a problem and made the trip into work just for us. We truly appreciate that we didn't have to wait another long day without a car and dump money into more Uber trips.
KD always made us feel comfortable about the whole process, even when a supposed approved auto loan from my bank was suddenly rescinded to over 22% less! This was after the bank was constantly calling me to congratulate me and pester me about when I was going to go get the car. Bank 100% disappointed me.
But KD and his lead got on the phone with my bank and fought to get the original loan approved, and in the end we still got to drive off the lot with the car we fell in love with. Thank you to Wyman from the finance department for making signing these papers easy and answering our questions about the sudden change.
Thank you KD! My husband and I were thrilled to leave with our new car. My trade in car held a lot of precious memories for us as a family. We will miss our old car terribly since it took care of us for many years. We have high hopes this Honda will be a worthy, more spacious successor for our growing family.
