One Saturday afternoon in September my husband and I decided to venture into a quaint Italian restaurant nestled near the historic part of Brea near old town, known as frantellion’s Italian Restaurant. The ambiance was immediately inviting, with soft lighting, rustic decor, and hand painted murals adorning the walls. The gentle hum of Italian conversation paired with the faint notes of a classic Italian ballad made the setting feel intimate and cozy.We were greeted with a warm smile by the owner Cesar and his son Gianni the hostess, who led us to a VIP table overlooking the entire restaurant. As I glanced over the menu, an array of authentic dishes beckoned me. We settled on the entree specials served with wine, perfectly toasted garlic bread, small salad or delicious minestrone and dessert. We had the handmade Chicken Parmigiana with creamy Pesto shells and the Shrimp and scallops Linguine. The anticipation grew as I took the first bite. The pasta was perfectly al dente, with the creamy alfredo pesto sauce melding in a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by breaded chicken parmigiana. Every bite was a delightful dance of textures and flavors, making it evident that each ingredient was chosen with care and love.To accompany the meal, the waitress Taylor suggested a glass of Rose and House Red wine , which perfectly accentuated the rich flavors of the Linguine and Pesto. For dessert, we indulged in cheesecake ice-cream with a delicate layering of creamy chunks of strawberries. It was a sweet ending to an exquisite meal. The entire experience was more than just a dinner; it was a journey through Italian culture and tradition. The genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and passion for authentic flavors made fratellino’s a memorable culinary adventure that I'll cherish for years to come.---AyaVegetarian options: Offers Eggplant, spinach ravioli and vegetarian sandwich anything can be modified very accommodatingParking: In a shopping centerKid-friendliness: Pizza is kid friendly and pastaWheelchair accessibility: Very spacious and accessible
